Voice certificate programme

An expired certificate stops phones and clients. I ran the certificate work across the voice platform for five years, then moved it to multi-domain certificates.

Wildcard renewals

Renewed wildcard certificates across the web, device, messaging and load-balancer tiers each year, tier by tier, from the first 4 changes in 2021.

Moving to multi-domain certificates

From June 2025 to January 2026 (150 hours) I led the move from wildcard to multi-domain certificates.

  1. Tested self-signed and signed certificates in pre-production.
  2. Moved certificates from the load balancers to the back end.
  3. Moved the web, device and client services, including the web application firewall.
  4. Replaced the test certificates with signed ones in production.

When a certificate does expire

Restored DRM after a certificate expiry, and handled the follow-up process and troubleshooting.
